The Sirena 118 is the new 36-metre (118 ft) flagship of Sirena Yachts, the brand of Turkish builder Sirena Marine. Built at the yard in Yalova, she made her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival following her launch. She is the first of a new, larger composite line with a waterline length over 24 metres and a gross tonnage below 300, and Sirena says she is the largest GRP yacht it has built.

Her underwater lines are by the Argentine naval architect Germán Frers, who has worked on many earlier Sirena models. The exterior was styled by the yard's in-house team, and the interior by the Dutch studio Cor D. Rover together with Sirena's own interior design team.

Hull and engines

She is built entirely in GRP on a fast-displacement hull. Sirena carried out a new CFD-based hull study for this length, aiming for efficient cruising in displacement mode and lower fuel consumption. The brand's signature plumb bow adds volume to an already generous hull. At 279 GT, she is certified under RINA's Pleasure Craft rules.

Standard power is a pair of 1,550 hp MAN V12s driving through ZF gearboxes and shafts to five-blade Nibral propellers. According to the yard's current specification sheet, she cruises at 10 knots with a top speed of 15. The optional 1,900 hp MAN V12s raise top speed to 18 knots. Earlier yard announcements quoted 16 and 21 knots for the same engine outputs. A 20,000-litre fuel tank, 4,000 litres of fresh water and a 180-litre-per-hour watermaker leave her less dependent on port calls during long passages.

Decks and beach club

Sirena describes the tri-deck layout as highly flexible. In the arrangement released at project stage, the main deck aft has an informal dining and lounge area, enclosed by full-height glazing and flowing straight onto the exterior deck. The upper deck has a large dining area, a wet bar and a private exterior deck. Above the three decks is a large sun deck, and aft there is a sizeable beach club, shown in the yard's images with its side terrace folded open.

Cabins and the loft master suite

The master suite is forward on the main deck. On the lower deck there is a VIP and up to four guest cabins. The specification sheet lists 12 guests in 5+1 cabins and seven heads. The crew area sleeps five in three cabins; at project stage, Sirena said a captain's cabin on the upper deck could take the crew to seven.

Her most distinctive option is the loft master suite, which spreads across two decks. A spiral staircase leads from the main-deck stateroom down to a private lounge on the lower deck with a fold-down swim platform, giving the owner direct access to the water.

Interior

Cor D. Rover's interior is built around layered materials and natural light. It combines wood veneer, integrated lighting and an understated palette of cream upholstery, pale wood, bronze and reflective accents. Soft indirect light, natural textures and muted tones shift in character as the daylight changes. Sirena calls the result bolder, richer and more personal than any of its previous interiors. Plenty of loose furniture and interchangeable decorative pieces make it straightforward to tailor each yacht to its owner.

Who is she for?

The Sirena 118 is for buyers in the 35-metre class who put volume, range and fuel economy ahead of outright speed. Her fast-displacement hull and 10-knot cruise suit owners planning long seasons of passage-making in the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean. The loft master suite is one of the few layouts at this size to give the owner a private space opening directly onto the water. Staying under 300 GT can affect crewing and certification requirements, depending on flag and use, and this is worth examining before purchase. Because she is built in Yalova, buyers based in Turkey can follow construction at first hand. Our broker can talk you through the layout options, engine choice and crew planning.
