The M|30 is the first model in Maiora's new M Collection: a 30.40-metre (99 ft 9 in), three-deck motor yacht. She made her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, and Next Yacht Group says four units had been sold before the official unveiling. The second model in the range is the M|38. Both share the same design language: a near-coupé profile, a full-beam bow, extensive glazing and a distinctive light signature along the sides. Maiora belongs to Viareggio-based Next Yacht Group, which also builds AB Yachts. The group has entered the Global Order Book for the first time, in 15th place among the world's yacht builders.
Exterior design is by Franco Carone, Matteo Broglia and Andrea Sartori of Quartostile. The interior was developed by the Maiora Style Centre together with ACUBE. The yard's stated aim was to treat naval architecture and life on board as a single piece of work.
Exterior and circulation
Quartostile describe the brief in these terms: to create an experience on board rather than simply design a boat, to remove the boundary between inside and out, to use light as a design material, and to plan continuous routes instead of separate spaces. The designers say the lines are meant not to impress but to last. The profile rests on proportion, materials and the relationships between surfaces.
Continuity works on three levels. Sightlines run unbroken from stern to bow. A walkaround layout, with side decks running the length of the yacht, gives a clear route all the way round. The transitions between spaces are gradual. A hatch is built into the port-side passageway; when it is closed, the walkway is continuous and secure.
The beach area aft has been enlarged and leads straight into the cockpit, which the yard has laid out as a waterfront lounge. It is designed not merely as the link between yacht and sea but as the social heart of life on board.

Main deck: saloon and master suite
On the main deck, technical elements have been moved outboard. Full-height windows and uninterrupted glazing remove the visual barriers usual on yachts of this class. The saloon of around 36 m² was designed by the Maiora Style Office. Its bespoke sofas and dining area can be arranged in different layouts, and a neutral palette lets the owner choose details and finishes without upsetting the overall scheme.
Forward is a full-beam master suite of around 30 m². Large glazed areas bring in plenty of daylight and keep the sea in view throughout the day. The suite has a study area, a chaise longue, a generous dressing area and a private bathroom, and the yard says the layout can be tailored further.
Lower deck and crew
The lower deck has four guest cabins, including a VIP, each of around 12 m². With the main-deck master, she sleeps 12 guests in five cabins.
The crew quarters sleep five in three cabins, with a private cabin for the captain. A dedicated staircase links the galley to the crew areas, so service can run without passing through guest spaces. That separation matters to owners who will run her with a professional crew.
Upper deck and wheelhouse
The upper decks follow the same idea of continuous use. Circulation routes and the links between areas have been reworked so that the outdoor spaces can be used as one connected whole.
The helm sits in a raised wheelhouse. Next to the helm station there is a lounge area with a sofa, and storage for water-sports equipment and onboard accessories. LED strip lighting turns what is usually a purely technical space into one of the yacht's living areas.

Who is she for?
The M|30 is for buyers who want a full-beam master on the main deck and accommodation for 12 in a yacht of around 30 metres. The walkaround decks, the beach area opening onto the cockpit and the full-height glazing are aimed at owners who spend most of their time outside and close to the water. A crew of five, captain included, means she is intended to be run professionally; on a yacht of this size, crew, berthing and maintenance should be planned alongside the purchase. Range and fuel consumption have not yet been published, so buyers planning long passages should ask the yard for these figures through our broker. For the same design language with more volume, the M|38, the second model in the range, is also worth considering.
