Absolute Yachts has introduced the new Navetta 58 as The Absolute Andromeda. The 17.60-metre (57 ft 9 in) flybridge yacht made her world premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival, alongside two more newcomers to the range, the Navetta 50 and the Navetta 66. The yard describes the new Navetta 58 in terms of smooth lines, extensive glazing and a seamless flow between living areas. Most of the changes are in the exterior details, the flybridge layout and how flexibly the interior can be arranged. She has three guest cabins and a separate crew cabin, and is driven by twin Volvo Penta IPS950s.
Exterior and stern
The first thing you notice outside is Absolute's large rounded-square bow windows. The bulwarks around the cockpit are glazed, and reverse-sloping hull sides aft improve visibility and make it easier to get into the water. The yard says the glazed bulwarks, sheltered cockpit and broad stern platform bring those on board closer to the sea.
The cockpit is fully covered by the flybridge, so it stays usable in strong sun or light rain. The swim platform comes in two versions: fixed, or with an integrated automatic ladder.
Flybridge
The flybridge is step-free, and the yard has designed it as an open terrace with a view. It has an L-shaped sofa with a sliding table, a fully equipped bar unit with barbecue, fridge and ice-maker, and the helm station. The aft terrace can be set up in different ways, and the generous hardtop can be specified with a sliding section or solar panels. Soft ambient lighting makes the flybridge just as usable in the evening.
Interior
The main-deck saloon is step-free too. With large windows and furniture that can be arranged in different ways, it moves easily between dining, conversation and relaxing. The dining table for six comes in two versions, a folding table that tucks away or an electric one, and can be paired with armchairs, a glass display cabinet or a coffee table.
The galley sits at the centre of the main deck, where the yard has prioritised clean lines, practical storage and visual continuity with the saloon. Throughout the interior, soft curves, large windows, air conditioning and ambient lighting stand out.

Cabins and crew
The cabins are on the lower deck. The master is forward and spans the full beam. It is lit by large windows, has a walk-in wardrobe, and its furniture can be tailored to the owner. The midship VIP has its own en suite and panoramic windows, and comes close to the master for comfort. In the third guest cabin, two single beds convert electrically into a double, so it suits children and adult couples alike. The crew cabin is separate from the guest area, which the yard says keeps the day-to-day running of the boat away from the guests.

Who is she for?
The Navetta 58 is aimed at buyers looking for a three-cabin flybridge in the 17–18-metre bracket who will mostly run her themselves or with a single crew member. With a full-beam master and an en suite VIP, she suits two couples cruising together for long stretches. The separate crew cabin makes it possible to take on a skipper or stewardess for the season. The step-free saloon and flybridge help older guests and children move about safely. IPS drives make manoeuvring easier in tight marinas. CE category B means she is rated for offshore use in winds up to Force 8 and significant wave heights up to 4 metres. As performance figures have not yet been published, a sea trial should come before purchase, and fuel consumption should be assessed against the yard's data with our broker.
